RALEIGH, North Carolina (December 2, 2024) – Core Health Technologies, a leader in healthcare integration (HL7/X12) solutions, announced that its CEO Charlie Rogers will participate in an industry panel discussion on Friday, December 6, 2024 as part of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) eHealth Summit.
During the Summit, industry thought leaders will share their perspectives on the CMS eHealth initiatives, as well as reflect on the present and potential future utilization of health information technology.
The moderated panel discussion will feature industry experts discussing the findings of the recently published Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) Staffing Environmental Survey conducted by a collaborative workgroup formed by The Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). HIE is the complex process of sharing healthcare-related information across different users and/or organizations. While the goal of HIE—to connect healthcare providers electronically in order to facilitate higher quality healthcare—is clear and constant, business models and implementation methods are continually evolving. The workgroup was formed to analyze job opportunities and skill sets within the Health Information Exchange (HIE) setting
